The Birmingham chapter of Le Dames d’Escoffier held it’s annual Southern Soiree at Jones Valley Teaching Farm. The best of the best in Birmingham’s culinary arts was present for a celebration of food and women in the industry! Proceeds from the event helped to offer scholarships to students who will pursue food-science based careers. The Soiree has always been a great start to the Fall event season! We look forward to next year’s event and meeting some of the new faces of the Birmingham food industry!
Everyone knows how much I love food! Seriously, sometimes it's less of a guilty pleasure and more of an incontrollable habit! Imagine my delight when I was invited to a food party! That's right people, there are parties just for food. The brain child of chefs David Smith and Brent Seamon, Food Party Popup is an event designed for anyone who loves great company and amazing food! The event was held at Avondale Common House . Here are some of my favorite moments!
